Jenny has taught art in many different capacities ranging from children’s arts and crafts, youthwork, retirement art hobby groups, and adult painting and drawing, in both private classes and within schools.

Recent community art projects include a collaborative project with Galway City Comhairle na nÓg , producing an interactive art piece based on their chosen project theme of Homelessness in Galway city.
The project was built on a number of practical and idea-generating workshops, resulting in a large art piece featuring elements highlighting the problems and solutions relating to the topic of homelessness. The young people each produced their own individual artwork pieces which combined with the landscape background of a large Galway cityscape made for a very enjoyable and interesting project.

She has also been involved in professional tutoring, lecturing and workshops for Technical Graphics secondary level teachers, primarily regarding the facilitation of the introduction of freehand drawing into the existing Leaving Certificate syllabus. Jenny participated as a guest lecturer in the Technical Graphics teachers annual conference, and subsequently as a drawing skills developer in a follow-on series of upskilling classes for teachers.
