Window Reproduction

Had the pleasure recently of working on these beautifully recreated 1930’s cottage style sash windows for a private household.
The windows are the work of PJ Murphy Woodworking, and my role was to complete the colour restoration using glass paint, to replicate as faithfully as possible the original design and patina of the glasswork.

Dolls House
This handmade dolls house had seen years of playing and happiness and was being restored to pass on to further generations of the original family. All materials used were non-toxic and durable.
- Complete cleaning, repainting and sealing of all surfaces
- Relining and decoration of interior and exterior details
- Additional outdoor decoration and refitting of window panes

Statues
This religious statue arrived with damage, fading and paint chipping, as well as parts of the plasterwork crumbling. Part of the commission was the request to make the colour more uniform and simple. The entire statue was cleaned, repainted, redecorated and resealed for a jubilee celebration in the church it belonged to.
